Hollyoaks star Jessica Fox has discussed the aftermath of Nancy Osborne's stabbing.
The 2020 trailer, which launched earlier this month, showed Nancy being stabbed when she tries to break up a fight at school.
The pregnant teacher rushes to stop an escalating situation between Sid, Imran, and another student, but ends up on the ground.
Although the injury isn't too serious and her unborn baby is fine, Jessica told Inside Soap that the incident does have a significant effect on her mental state going forwards.
"An ambulance is called to take her to the hospital, although Nancy's not too badly injured," she said.
"She becomes quite fearful. She's suspicious of all the children around her. Nancy's going to become quite paranoid that something at the school is not quite right, that they need to be vigilant, and that firmer measures need to be taken."
"People went nuts for that episode. Everyone wants to know who's in that body bag!" she said. "People were contacting me on Twitter saying, 'I think it's Nancy because John Paul's crying!'
"But even I don't know who it is. It really could be anyone!"
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
