Hollyoaks' Warren Fox flees the village after shooting drama

Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Monday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Tuesday.

Tonight's (July 1) Hollyoaks streaming episode saw Warren Fox flee the village after the shooting drama.

Warren has recently been targeted after supplying a batch of dodgy pills that resulted in the tragic deaths of Lizzie Chen-Williams and Hunter McQueen.

Warren's troubles came to a head in last week's episodes on the streaming service, with the character being shot by an unidentifiable assailant — though he escaped unharmed after wearing a bulletproof vest.

As Warren tried to gather information on his attacker, it was later revealed that Freddie Roscoe had been hiding a gun in his bag.

Tonight's episode began with Norma trying to convince her son to go to a safe house in the Lake District to escape the threats on his life.

Warren wasn't keen on the idea, declaring: "I'm not running from anyone."

"Whoever it is, I'm going to deal with them," he then said as a suspicious-looking Freddie walked past.

"If it's Freddie, he won't be working alone," added Norma. "They could be watching you right now. And it's not running away, it's biding your time whilst I do some digging."

She continued: "You shouldn't be risking your life gunning for the wrong guy. It could be anyone in this village that's after you. I don't want you leaving yourself open to another attack, you've got a daughter to think about."

Norma then told Warren that he should take Mercedes with him, as their unborn child could get caught in the crossfire.

Later, Norma tried to convince Mercedes to leave the village with Warren, with Mercedes revealing: "I'm about to drop twins. There's no way I'm trekking off to the Lakes."

Norma eventually convinced Mercedes to pack her bags after warning her that she's also in danger and needs to get away from the village to keep her babies safe.

As Mercedes arrived to meet Warren ahead of their trip to the Lake District, he assured her: "Norma is going to deal with things while we're away, and then when we get back, we are going to move into our new home with our family."

Will Norma be able to uncover Warren's assailant while he's away?

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
