Good Morning Britain viewers all said the same thing about Simon Cowell's appearance as he embarks on a quest to discover new talent.

The music tycoon is on a mission to create a fresh boy band that could potentially rival the success of One Direction. He shared his plans to hold auditions over the weekend at the Atlantic Pavilion in Royal Albert Dock.

In a pre-recorded interview with entertainment presenter Richard Arnold on ITV's popular breakfast show GMB, Simon elaborated on his ambitions to form a new group. He began by stating: "I'm looking for another band because there isn't one. I mean there are K-Pop bands but in terms of UK bands like One Direction, there hasn't been one in all that time.

"They don't knock on your door so there is only one way of doing it, you have to go out in cities and hope that people will turn up and audition.

"We thought that we will document the whole thing so if it works or it doesn't you will be able to see everything."

When Richard queried: "Why a boy band in particular?" Simon responded: "I thought we could either do a boy band or a girl band and I thought let's start with a boy band," reports the Mirror.

"What will the audition process look like?" Richard asked. Simon responded: "I didn't want to set it up as here is a desk we made and we are going to sit behind it or have singer trying to find other singers, it's much more about people I have worked with over the years and have had a lot of success who will be there to help me."

He went on: "I'm not going to lie, I am nervous - nervous like going on a rollercoaster. You know there is going to be ups and downs and you're going to be terrified. The thought of this not working and that is really scary. I'll be really disappointed. "

Wrapping up the interview, he stated: "There is a purpose for doing this. I think it is time that Britain has a successful band again."

Many Good Morning Britain viewers seemed more interested in his changing appearance than his words. One viewer @Itt39354118 quipped: "He needs to lay off the botox #gmb."

"While user @simonwi11728302 commented: "It looks like #simoncowell has seen a ghost with the amount of Botox he's had on his face #GMB. "User @FunniBirdie questioned: "WTF has #SimonCowell done to his face!"

With @CarrieHef echoing the sentiment: "@GMB what has Simon Cowell done to his face? #goodmorningbritain."

Simon Cowell opened up about his decision to dissolve his facial fillers, explaining that it was prompted by a humorous reaction from his son. "I saw a picture of me from 'before' the other day, and didn't recognise it as me first of all," he shared with The Sun. "Eric was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.

He further commented on the trend of cosmetic enhancements, saying: "There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other. But actually, for me now, a lot of it comes down to healthy eating and drinking tonnes of water."
