Hollywood star Lily Collins takes in Edinburgh sights in 'very special trip' with husband

A Hollywood star has been spotted taking in the sights of Edinburgh while on a trip across Scotland with her husband.

Emily in Paris icon, Lily Collins, has shared photographs of her romantic Scottish getaway and has told fans that the country has a 'very special' place in her heart after she enjoyed exploring with film director Charlie McDowell.

The Daily Record reports that it's believed Lily is visiting ahead of the Dior show in Drummond Castle on June 3, but arrived a few days early to take in some Scottish attractions.

Sharing a range of photos while visiting the capital and other locations across the country, Lily wrote: "Slipped away to Scotland…"

In one photo, Lily shared a snap of the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh and her husband also shared a Instagram post and tagged the Netflix star, writing: 'Scotland, you are special."

Many fans flocked to the comments of Lily's post to say how stunning her photos are.

One penned: "Gorgeous! Scotland is amazing hope you had a good time."

Another added: "Emily in Scotland." While one commented: "hope you had fun in Scotland."

Lily is best known for playing fashionista Emily Cooper in the hit Netflix show Emily in Paris. The show follows marketing executive Emily as she navigates life in Paris after landing her dream job.
