'Holy Cow!': Thousands Without Power as Severe Weather Hits South Carolina

Thousands were left without power as wind and hail hit the Charleston area of South Carolina on Monday, June 10, local news reported.

The National Weather Service (NWS) warned of severe thunderstorms with the possibility of bringing quarter-sized hail and wind gusts of up to 60 mph.

Local media reported damage across the Lowcountry on Monday, where over 16,000 residents were left without power.
