Harper pieces together her confrontation with Felicity. A walk with Tane helps take her mind off it, but when Roo, Irene and Marilyn give a stern warning about Felicity, Harper decides it's time to cut ties. She doesn't want to make things harder between Tane and his ex-wife and she's going to keep her distance.
Tane appeals, explaining that he won't let his ex control his life. Harper is the only person he looks forward to seeing at the moment, and they both could use a friend.
Meanwhile, Rose and Kirby's drinks are derailed – first by Rose buried in her phone and then by a distracted Theo, whose mind caught on the collapsing wedding plans. Kirby's encouragement for them to continue work on the love song only sinks Theo further, but spurs Rose to pitch album concepts for Lyrik, and they get carried away with drinking.
Awoken by a blaring phone alarm the next morning, Rose and Kirby face a nasty hangover and Theo goes back to Leah and Justin's. Kirby's cook-up falls short when Rose is pulled away to see Mali and finally alone, Kirby opens her lyrics book to a starkly blank page.
Elsewhere, filled with concern for Leah after learning she has called off the wedding, Roo calls past to check in. But this alerts Leah to the fact that Justin has gone against his word and spoken about Leah behind her back.
Leah storms the garage, and Justin can do no right. He invites the idea of them getting professional help, to which Leah responds with fury. There will be no marriage, no wedding, no ceremony. She doesn't want to marry Justin ever.
Justin thinks better of knocking on her bedroom door to talk things through, but Leah senses him looming and is riddled with fear.
The next morning, Theo returns to see Leah's frustration. When she returns to work, her stone-cold demeanour is a red flag to Roo and Irene. Leah goes to the garage, where her skewed reality seems to imply that Justin is trying to deceive her and has been contacting the cult that traumatised them. While Justin turns up at the Diner expecting to find her, Leah shoves her possessions into an overnight bag, convinced she is about to be betrayed by her ex-fiancé.
