Home and Away spoilers follow from Thursday's Australian episode (October 5), which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has resolved the furious feud between Marilyn Chambers and Roo Stewart.

The ongoing conflict finally came to a head in Thursday's Australian episode as Marilyn stood up to Roo following constant rows.

After recently deciding to kick Marilyn out of the Stewart house, Roo went too far by asking her to lie to Alf about what had happened.

Feeling sheepish after tricking Alf into thinking that Marilyn was overseeing her care, Roo asked her friend to make out that she left the house voluntarily.

Finally fed up with Roo blaming her for everything, Marilyn replied: "You are supposed to be my best friend but what you're asking me to do is impossible.

"I never wanted to move out, you forced me to do it and I'm not going to lie to your dad about it. You created this mess, Roo, so why don't you fix it?"

Roo has spent weeks giving Marilyn a hard time over her dealings with corrupt cosmetics company Stunning Organics.

Marilyn defied advice from her friends earlier this year by getting involved with the dodgy pyramid scheme.

She later antagonised the company by waging a social media campaign against them, which led to the CEO sending a bomb to Summer Bay and leaving Roo seriously injured.

After hearing about the latest bust-up between the friends, Irene Roberts also stepped in to give Roo a piece of her mind.

Irene ranted: "Yes, you're still recovering – but you will get there, Roo, because you are strong.

"For God sake, Leah and Justin nearly died and you're here making up lies like a flipping teenager. You know there are bigger problems in the world – so for God sake, just grow up."

The tough talking finally had an effect on Roo, who realised that it was time to make amends with Marilyn and apologise for blaming her. Can the friends finally put the Stunning Organics saga behind them?
