Hotel Chocolat to open shop and cafe inside old restaurant at retail park

Chocoholics will be in for a treat when Hotel Chocolat opens a new shop with a cafe in Nottinghamshire. Customers will be able to sit down and enjoy hot chocolate, ice cream, cakes and snacks.

The cafe will be based in the former Frankie & Benny's restaurant at Victoria Retail Park in Netherfield. The restaurant, which closed down in 2020, is currently being transformed. It is hoped it will be ready for opening by mid-July.

Milky, dark, white, hazelnut, salted caramel, chilli and mint hot chocolates will be served, along with chocolate shakes, coffee and tea. Cakes including brownies and Bakewell tart and chocolate batons will be on sale.

Ice cream fans can look forward to ice creams in tubs and cones and a Billionaire's Sundae with billionaire's shortbread chocolate, and crispy pearls.

The upmarket chocolatier chain, which has its own Saint Lucia cocoa farm, has had a shop in Nottingham city centre, in Albert Street, for around two decades.
