Huge new bar opening in Manchester's Printworks with Girls Aloud-themed brunch

A new bar promising the best live sport experience and themed events has opened its doors in Manchester.

Tank & Paddle Manchester, a state-of-the-art venue for live sport and, music, has officially opened its doors.

Located in Printworks in the heart of Manchester and spanning two floors, Tank & Paddle will be equipped with a bar on each floor as well as one of the largest screens in Manchester to provide the best live sport experience in the city.

A 292-inch screen takes pride of place in the bar, and is one of the 19 screens within the venue, ranging from 42-60 inches, making it the number one destination for sports fans this summer and beyond.

The bar will also have live music nights, themed nights to align with events at the AO Arena and themed bottomless brunches.

The official launch event of Tank & Paddle will take place on Thursday, May 23, which will see the venue throwing a series of Girls Aloud-inspired brunches to coincide with the group performing at the AO Arena from May 23 to 25.

The launch event will have a live DJ playing the Girls Aloud back catalogue as well as giveaways throughout the night.

To champion the late Girls Aloud singer, Sarah Harding, Tank and Paddle will be fundraising over the three days to raise funds for The Sarah Harding Breast Cancer Appeal at The Christie Charity.

Tank & Paddle offers a variety of food and drink, with the menu consisting of 2-4-1 pizzas on Mondays, burgers, 2-4-1 cocktails all day, every day, bottomless brunches, and 40p chicken wings on Wednesdays.

Guests will also be able to try a wide variety of craft beers and stone baked pizzas.
