It's been missing for the last few England group matches, but a massive indoor Euro 2024 fan zone will be back in the heart of Newcastle for the Slovakia match on Sunday.

Having had both England and Newcastle United supporters for crunch games over the last few years, the fan zone at NX was back for the Three Lions' Euros opener against Serbia a few weeks ago, before it was then moved to Hoults Yard for the Denmark tie. But now, as England aim to make it through to the quarter finals in Germany, despite a string of uninspiring performances, the fan zone will open its doors again this weekend, with the promise of epic flag displays, as well as big screen action.

And, the guest of honour at the 18+ event, hosted by The Magpie Channel's Matty Renton is NUFC great Mick Quinn. Excited to be on stage on Sunday, Mick commented: "“It’s fantastic to be part of this incredible event at NX Newcastle.

“The atmosphere here in Newcastle is always electric, and I can’t wait to see the fans come together to support England. Hosting the game and being back in the city that means so much to me is a real honour. Let’s bring it home!”
