A huge festival where children go free is returning to Norfolk this summer with an extra day of live music.

Folk in a Field festival is hosting its ninth event at Bradmoor Woods near Swaffham from July 4 to July 7.

The festival was launched in 2015 by Luke and Jade Horncastle and is back in 2024 with an all-new ice bath and sauna experience.

The family-friendly festival remains a passion project for the couple and any funds made go back into maintaining the event for future years.

"I’m very excited," Mr Horncastle said. "I dedicate every evening and weekend to putting this festival on.

"Every year has got better and better with more music and more on offer and we’re working toward a big one next year for our tenth anniversary.”

Guests can expect live folk and roots music, workshops, locally sourced ales and ciders, treatments and free shows and events.

There will be a variety of food and drink stalls including local favourites Zaks and All Wood Fired Pizza.

Mr Horncastle added: "There's a real, family-friendly and community feel - it's very safe and laid back."

Tickets are available via the Folk in a Field festival with free camping and free entry for children aged 12 and under.
