Huge queues outside The Couture Club sample sale as bargain hunters snap up £5 deals

A Manchester-born fashion brand brought shoppers out early this morning as it took over a city centre street for a huge sample sale.

The Couture Club has popped up at Side Street Studios on Quay Street, giving fashion lovers the chance to snap up thousands of items of clothing, including hoodies, t-shirts, coats and tracksuits for as little as £5. Taking place until 4pm, it's a chance to shop products that are no longer available online, plus archive pieces and unreleased styles.

Rather than get an extra hour of shut-eye on Bank Holiday Monday, hundreds flocked to Quay Street opposite Spinningfields ahead of the 10am launch. The brand were also selling £10 tickets ahead of the event to guarantee access and queue jump ahead of walk-ins - though many tried their luck in the long and winding queue.

Luckily the warmer Bank Holiday held out as fans of the brand patiently waited their turn to peruse the collections inside, and also enjoy a soundtrack from a live DJ, alongside coffee and pastries.

On site at The Couture Club website as the moment, The Couture Club women's hoodies and jumpers cost upwards of £60, T-shirts are around the £40 mark, and shorts can set you back as much as £55. Coats and jackets generally cost upwards of £90, however those wanting to make some serious savings were encouraged to sign up for access to the sample sale ahead of the event.

Those who bought tickets also have exclusive access to unreleased SS24 products.
