In honor of Hugh Hefner's passing on September 27, Playboy will feature the magazine's late founder on the cover of their 2017 November/December issue.

The black and white photograph was taken by Larry Gordon back in 1965 when Hef was around 39 years old, E! News reports.

However, this cover is only the first tribute that Playboy Enterprises have planned for Hefner. The media company said in a press release that they plan to release over 100 pages dedicated entirely to their former editor-in-chief.

In the meantime, the collector's edition is currently available for download on Playboy.com and will officially hit newsstands nationwide on October 31.

It features pictorials with November playmate Ines Rau and December playmate Allie Leggett, and interviews with Chelsea Handler and James Corden. Hefner's son, Cooper, also leads a discussion about conservation and environmentalism in the issue.
