Hugh Jackman toasts drink after beating skin cancer for sixth time

Hugh Jackman toasted to good health a week after having a basal cell carcinoma removed from his nose for the fifth time.

"Thank you São Paulo, thank you Brazil. Happy Carnival! Health!" the X-men actor, wearing a bandage on his nose, told his followers in a clip shared on Instagram.

The Australian actor, who is in Brazil to promote his upcoming film Logan, announced earlier this month that  he had been treated for skin cancer once again and urged people to wear sunscreen.

"Another basal cell carcinoma. Thanks to frequent checks & amazing doctors, all's well. Looks worse w the dressing on than off!" he wrote on social media.

"It is fine, it is all done, all fixed, all out. Thank you for asking," the 48-year-old said at the debut of the third installment of the Wolverine spin-off series at the Berlin Film Festival last week.

Jackman has been open about his battle against skin cancer in recent years. He also posted a selfie of his bandaged nose in 2013 and showed up at a movie premiere the next year two days after having a growth removed.
