Hull City reveal Turkish training camp details as Acun Ilicali makes pledge to Tigers faithful

Hull City are once more offering supporters the chance to win a free trip to Turkey as part of the club's warm-weather training camp in Istanbul. Fifty lucky fans will spend four days alongside Tim Walter’s first-team squad from July 16-20, courtesy of club chairman Acun Ilicali and principal partner Corendon Airlines.

Flights, accommodation and tickets for a friendly fixture will be provided, along with a host of other activities. The Tigers have twice taken supporters on holiday to Antalya, with 320 fans attending the 2022/23 mid-season training camp and 100 during the March 2024 international break.

Chairman Acun Ilıcalı said: “Although this is the third time I have invited our supporters to my beautiful country of Türkiye, it will be a first to have them with me in my home city of Istanbul. Before we embark on what I am sure will be another successful season together, I wish to start it in style and provide our supporters with an experience they will never forget.

"You know how much you mean to me, as my Hull City family, and it gives me great pleasure to repay and thank you for your passion, support and hospitality.”

It is expected City will play two showpiece friendlies in Turkey during their 10-day trip which will see Walter's squad based at Riva, the training centre of the Turkish national team, just as they did 12 months ago, before returning back to England where they'll tackle four domestic friendlies.

Yıldıray Karaer, Chairman of Corendon Airlines, added: "As Corendon Airlines, we are delighted to host the club Members in our country during Hull City's trip to Istanbul ahead of the 2024/25 Sky Bet Championship season. As a Turkish brand, we are proud to support Hull City. I wish the Hull City family to have a pleasant time in our country."

Members must enter a prize draw for a chance to win this money-can’t-buy prize. Twenty five will be chosen at random and each will be entitled to invite a guest.

A single member can be granted up to 15 entries into the draw based on meeting specific criteria, including attendance at matches during the 2023/24 campaign. Supporters have until 3pm on Thursday June 27 to enter, with winners to be informed on the same day.
