On a glorious Sunday afternoon, 290 tractors made their way through the village of Donagh as part of the village's annual tractor run.

The run this year was held in memory of the original founder of the run, Frankie McCormack who passed away in February 2024.

His family, friends and members of the Donagh Vintage Group decided it would be a fitting tribute to dedicate this year's tractor run in his memory.

Frankie was an avid vintage tractor enthusiast who previous to his sudden passing had fully restored his own Ford Ferguson tractor.

He was well-known within vintage tractor circles and attended many vintage shows and tractor runs over the years.

Each year the Donagh Vintage & Modern Tractor Run raises money for charities that have impacted the local community. This year the chosen charities are Marie Curie & Killadeas Day Centre, the latter of which Frankie's niece Shannon McCormack is a user.

The run was followed by refreshments and music in St. Pat's, Donagh clubhouse.

Frankie's family expressed their massive thanks to those who supported the tractor run through organising and donating money and prizes for the raffle and they were overwhelmed by the large numbers who came out not just in the tractors but also to show support along the route.
