A hunt is on for a Mazda driver who 'chased' another and then fled from police. Warwickshire Police have turned to the public for help following what they said was a car chase on the A429 coming away from Wellesbourne.

At 4.11pm, police received a call from from a driver to say he was being chased by a black Mazda from near Wellesbourne Airfield to Barford. Officers caught up with the victim’s car at the junction with the M40.

However, the suspect vehicle had fled. Now investigating officers want to hear from anyone who was in the area on Sunday (April 21). "If you witnessed the incident or have any dashcam or doorbell video please contact us," a police spokesperson said.
