Ice Spice Plays Coy When Asked if Taylor Swift Will Appear on Her Debut Album: 'Let's See'

The Grammy-nominated rapper's forthcoming album, 'Y2K,' arrives on July 26

Ice Spice is continuing to tease her debut album, Y2K — but she isn't giving everything away just yet!

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the 2024 BET Awards on Sunday, June 30, the Grammy-nominated rapper was asked about the "crazy collaboration" she previously teased at the top of the year.

And she's now revealing that there's "a couple" of them set for the album. "That's what I can say," Ice, 24, said of her July 26 release. "Yes, of course, more than one."

When asked if her friend Taylor Swift will "return the favor" of Ice hopping on her "Karma" remix back in May 2023, the rapper (real name Isis Gaston) played coy about a potential upcoming collaboration.

"I think she did me the favor," Ice said. "But I don't know. Let's see, let's see, let's see."

Ice is about to embark on her inaugural headlining tour, the Y2K! World Tour, which starts with international festival performances at the top of July before she hits the United States later in the month. And as she told ET, her collaborators Swift, 34, and Nicki Minaj are "always welcome" to come to the show.

"You know, they're busy ladies, right? On sold-out tours. Congratulations to them," she said when asked if they'll join forces anytime soon. "They know they're always welcome."

Ice previously teased the album while speaking with PEOPLE back in February about her Starry Super Bowl ad. At the time, she shared that she wouldn't be opposed to hearing Swift on a beat produced by her go-to producer RiotUSA. "I would love to hear that," she said. "That would be so fun."

During the BET Awards this weekend, the Bronx MC performed two tracks from her forthcoming album: "Think U The Shit (Fart)" and her latest single, "Phat Butt."

For the show, she rocked a two piece look designed by I.AM.GIA, and rapped in front of a graffiti'd garage door with her dancers by her side. She ended the performance with an explosion of lights and fire on the screen behind her.

Ice also took on another different look for the show's red carpet, as she wore a tangerine Versace gown from the spring/summer 2004 collection.

Her first-ever headlining tour reaches domestic venues starting in Washington, D.C., on July 30, and runs through August — as she's set to wrap things on Aug. 31 in Miami.
