After so many years of earning caps for England, will Tindall be trading them for a crown?
Here's everything you need to know about him.
Who is Mike Tindall?
Mike Tindall, born October 18, 1978, was raised in West Yorkshire by his social worker mother Linda, and Barclays banker father, Phillip.
His father introduced him to rugby at an early age as he himself was the captain of the Otley Rugby Union club.
He joined Bath rugby club in 1997 at the age of 18, shortly after leaving school. By the year 2000, he had made his debut representing England in the sport.
He earned 75 caps for England during his rugby career, playing as part of the team in ever Six Nations Championship between 2000 and 2011.
In 2003, he was part of the team that won the World Cup in Australia, and the Six Nations Championship in the same year.
While in Australia for the World Cup that year, he was introduced to Zara Tindall, daughter of Anne, Princess Royal and eldest grand daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
In 2010, they announced their engagement, and they were married in July 2011 following the Queen giving her consent to the union.

Together they have three children – Mia Grace (born January 17, 2014), Lena Elizabeth Tindall (born June 18, 2018) and Lucas Philip (born March 21, 2021).
Tindall and Phillips have also both spoken openly about two miscarriages they suffered between the birth of Mia and Lena.
Currently, Tindall hosts podcast 'House Of Rugby' alongside Alex Payne and fellow rugby player James Haskell, who participated in I'm A Celebrity on 2019.
What has Mike Tindall said about joining 'I'm A Celebrity'?
"It is sinking in now that I am taking part," Tindall said before heading into the jungle. "I am ready to rumble! I have been asked on numerous occasions to take part. The timing was right this year and [James Haskell] did the show and he had been talking about it."
Tindall considers himself the "morning motivator" with a positive outlook that could be beneficial in the harder days of camp. However, he's shared that while he's looking forward to the experience, he's doubtful he's going to be coming home with the crown.

Speaking ahead of the show's launch, Tindall said: "I reckon it’s a difficult one to win I’m A Celebrity. I am used to doing something where you know if you do the best you can, you can win. This isn’t that set up.
"All I would hope to do is be useful to the group. Winning is out of your control. But I am not going in to win it. All I can do is what I think is the best and someone else will judge me on whether they think it is. I am looking forward to it."
I'm A Celebrity starts Sunday at 9pm on ITV
