I’m A Celebrity… South Africa viewers were left fuming after Helen Flanagan received her marching orders.

The Coronation Street star was a favourite to win the All-Star series of the ITV reality show but was eliminated after facing the Survival Trial – and fans reckon she was “robbed”.

The challenge saw the campers racing to find their way out of locked crates.

Flanagan and EastEnders star Dean Gaffney came last and unlike the usual series, where fans vote, those who fail in the trials are sent packing.

Viewers had hoped to see Flanagan – who was previously a contestant in 2012 – go all the way in the contest and were unimpressed with the result.

Many felt that if the public had been voting she would have stayed, given how well she'd been doing in camp.

“I'm gutted Helen lost on that trial,” one person tweeted.

“I don’t care what anyone says Helen 100% deserved to win,” said another.

“The girl took the meaning of redemption arc to another level.”

“Helen Flanagan was robbed bless her,” said somebody else.

One viewer posted: “Such a shame Helen left #ImACeleb tonight. Never been a fan of hers but she really has done well this time & deserved to stay instead of some of the others flying under the radar.”

“If it was down to public vote Helen would still be in,” another fan said.

“Gutted for Helen, really wanted her to win,” said one viewer.

The All-Star show has seen a host of former contestants returning for another stint in camp, this time in South Africa instead of Australia.

Contestants included former royal butler Paul Burrell, Countdown star Carol Vorderman, US supermodel Janice Dickinson, boxer Amir Khan and cricket star Phil Tufnell.
