Jamie Lynn Spears failed to mention her very famous sister Britney Spears in the first episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here – sending fans totally wild.

Away from the screen, the sisters haven't always seen eye to eye and have public spats on social media when Britney was fighting for her freedom from the conservatorship.

Spears followed Britney into the spotlight but in the opening episode of I'm A Celebrity when the 2023 stars entered camp for the first time, she said she was best known for her acting work and her singing.

Of course, this wasn't lost on the cheeky hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly who joked about her having a very famous sibling.

Plus, This Morning's Josie Gibson – who interviews for her day job on morning TV – tried to get it out of her in the jungle.

What, how and why?

While sat together in camp having a conversation, Gibson tried to get Spears to open up about her sister - but she failed to get much out of her.

"Who got you into music?" Gibson asked.

Spears responded: "I've always kind of been into music you know what I mean?"

This Morning host Gibson went a step further to bring her family into the conversation herself. "Very musical family aren't you?"

Spears still failed to mention her singing superstar sister. "Yeah," she said.

The Zoey 101 actor then said her mum liked to play the piano.

Earlier in the episode, Spears had said in her intro that she was most famous for her singing and acting.

McPartlin and Donnelly couldn't resist poking fun at Spears over her resistance to mention her sister.

"Jamie Lynn Spears, actress and singing but maybe best. known for having one of the most famous siblings in the world," Donnelly said.

Ant added: "Yes Bryan Spears! I can't believe we've got the Bryan Spears' sister on the show! Remember guys, Jamie Lynn is a person here, not just Bryan Spears' sister."

The cheeky presenters were left in hysterics over the moment.

Social media went wild. Among the comments, one viewer wrote: "Things Jamie Lynn Spears is known for in the correct order: 1. Being Britney’s sister 2. Ruining Zoey 101 by getting pregnant 3. Being on Zoey 101."

"Jamie Lynn Spears is the only one I knew existed. Is she even known for anything other than being Britney's sister?"

"Jamie Lynn Spears: 'I'm best known for being an actress and a singer.' No love, your Britney's sister. That's all."

The 10 celebrities entered the I'm A Celebrity camp for the first time while McPartlin and Donnelly returned to their roles as hosts.

Everyone was talking about Nigel Farage's arrival in the jungle. His campmates had some hilarious reactions to the former politician making an appearance.

Just as they met for the first time, This Morning star Gibson cracked a Brexit joke at Farage's expense - amusing viewers at home.

They were dumped in the Australian outback and Gibson compared their situation to Brexit.

Farage said: "It wasn't gonna be easy." To which Gibson responded: "It can't be any worse than Brexit."

But Farage showed he didn't mind as he burst out laughing. He said: "Didn't take long did it? Didn't take long. I had a feeling we'd get a bit of that!"
