Rose and Gibson had a chat and a chuckle in camp about how much they were enjoying the male celebrities looking after them.

Rose said: "They're so useful. The men are supposed to go out, get the wood, make the fire, whilst the women keep the vibes. That's how it should be."

She joked: "The Suffragettes were fighting for this!"

Gibson agreed: "They have restored my faith in men."

Rose, 26, asked: "Do you think these are old fashioned men? Imagine a bunch of men my age, they'd be like 'Why are we the only one's getting the wood bruv? Why can't everything be 50/50?' "

The YouTube star told the Bush Telegraph: "This camp has 100 per cent restored my faith in men. Macho men. Hunter gatherers. They even cook! We're just here to bear children at this point."

Gibson added: "They can't do enough for you. They're so nice. They have restored my faith in men. They are absolute gentlemen."

Viewers on social media were upset by this attitude.

One observed: "So it's clear that Nella doesn't believe in equality on #ImACelebrity #ImaCeleb she wants the men to do everything for her, and Josie seems to think the same which is disappointing."

Another complained: "Nella and Josie putting the cause of feminism back 50 years there."

And another posted: "Hmm bit sexist from Nella. Imagine if the men spoke last this about the women in the camp #ImACeleb"

And one viewer fumed: "So from the opener of tonight's show Nella has set woman's rights back 20yrs, totally sexist men should do manual labour women stand around bearing children doing nothing, if that's her view on the world she has my pity #ImACeleb"
