When will celebrities start leaving the castle? (ITV)

This year's I'm A Celebrity campmates have started to form a close bond, which can mean only one thing - the first eviction is coming.

Viewers have been wondering when the chance will come to break up camp and start sending people home, and with the final not far off, we'll soon be picking up our phones to vote.

Here's what we know so far.

When does the public vote open for I'm A Celebrity 2021?

So far, there has been no announcement on when the first public vote and the first eviction will be.

It usually falls on day 13, but things are a little different this year after the chaos caused by Storm Arwen last weekend.

For the first time in its 21-series history, I'm A Celeb was forced off-air and the campmates even had to leave the main camp for a more secure area to keep themselves safe from the 98mph winds.

It appears to have thrown the schedule off a little, but with the final still arranged for the same date, the vote should be coming soon.

Last year, the camp was cleared out over seven days as there were various double evictions, so if the same happens this year, the first campmate could leave on Monday, 6 December.

It's still crowded around the campfire, with all celebrities apart from Richard Madeley remaining in the series.

Madeley was forced to quit camp after five days because he had visited hospital for a minor illness, but as he had broken the COVID-secure bubble he was not allowed back inside.

Naughty Boy has threatened to leave a few times, as did Dame Arlene Phillips at one point, but no one else has walked yet.

When is the I'm A Celeb 2021 final?

The show's final is scheduled for Sunday, 12 December from 9pm to 10.40pm, when we'll see the latest Queen or King of the Castle crowned.

They will take up the baton from last year's winner, Giovanna Fletcher.
