'I'm A Celebrity's' Beverley Callard leaves campmates red-faced over pet name for partner

Watch: Beverley Callard reveals husband’s X-rated nickname

I’m A Celebrity’s Beverley Callard has shocked her campmates with the rude pet name she has for her partner, John.

In tonight’s episode, she started her morning in camp by volunteering the information out of absolutely nowhere that she calls him “Megashag”.

Callard told the embarrassed-looking celebrities: “John’s very handsome, he’s a megashag.

“He dances for me every morning in the kitchen and makes me laugh my socks off.”

Shane Richie, Victoria Derbyshire and Vernon Kay all looked a little uncomfortable with Callard’s overshare, but it wasn’t the only moment of embarrassment in the episode.

Callard, Giovanna Fletcher, Jessica Plummer and Ruthie Henshall all took part in Mean Massage, a trial where they had to lie on a massage table with an alarming number of creepy crawlies.

Fletcher shouted out: “I think one is near my foo foo. That’s not wanted.”

Henshall added: “One of them has gone up my bum.”

And as they brushed away the bugs at the end of the trial, Callard said: “Oh my god, they’re all on my tuppence.”

It was a tough day for Plummer, who had also been chosen in the public vote to take part in the latest trial to win dinner for camp along with fellow EastEnders star Shane Richie.

An offer of a luxury spa day was up for grabs if they were successful in the trial, but selflessly, all four celebs decided to nominate someone else instead of themselves to enjoy the treat.

Henshall chose Russell Watson as it was his birthday, Callard chose Vernon Kay, and Fletcher chose Hollie Arnold.

It’s possible that Callard was trying to make up for putting her foot in it with Kay recently when she slated the TV show Splash! - without realising that he was the host.

But Fletcher did get to enjoy the reward after all, as she was nominated by her trial co-star Plummer.

The four spa celebs were given personalised bathrobes and enjoyed face masks, a hot tub, and a spread of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Kay said: “This is heaven. Bev, you’re an absolute beauty.

“I feel a million dollars, I really do. I’m ready for a Saturday night out.”
