'I'm A Celebrity': John Barrowman and Noel Edmonds clash during Emperor task

John Barrowman and Noel Edmonds didn’t get off to the best start on the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.

Having entered the jungle as the Emperor, Edmonds began to hand out a series of tasks to the other campmates before he called Barrowman out and accused him of scratching his groin in front of him.

Barrowman denied doing so, and later revealed how annoyed he was during a rant in the Bush Telegraph.

Speaking to the cameras, he said: “I know he was trying to make a joke and be funny but it didn’t land well with me and for that moment I’m probably being overly sensitive and it’s at this exact time that my husband would say I need a sandwich.

“It’s not his fault and I’m an adult, I know that, it was just that moment and some of us are feeling ‘arghhh’.’

Barrowman’s husband Scott Gill had previously predicted that the pair wouldn’t see eye to eye when he spoke about Edmonds’ entry during an interview on I’m A Celebrity’s spin-off show Extra Camp.

Asked if he knew anyone that would rile Barrowman up, Gill explained: “I don’t know but I think he’s really liking the balance of people in there, they’re all meshing really well.

“When you throw something new into the mix it’s always gonna stir, I don’t know how he’s gonna react to that.”

“Noel’s a big character, so there is the possibility they’re gonna clash which makes for great telly! Sit back and see what happens.”

However, Noel didn’t just ruffle feathers in the jungle after viewers admitted that they weren’t enjoying the show following Edmonds’ arrival.
