Ant and Dec were finally reunited in the jungle tonight (November 17) as I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! kicked off its 2019 series.
And it didn't take long for the Geordie duo to address the elephant in the room – Ant's absence from the show last year.

Kicking off the first task of the series, Ant made reference to one of the campmates being made of the 'Wright stuff', only for Dec to interrupt and accidentally-on-purpose say Kate Garraway.
In response to Dec's deliberate mistake, Ant said: "I've had a year off. What's your excuse?"
Needless to say, viewers were delighted to finally see the pair exchanging banter once again.
One viewer tweeted: "So good to see you both back together! Already winning at life with the jokes boys! Looking forward to the next few weeks with you's on my telly box each night!"
While another wrote: "Honestly can’t tell ya how much I love seeing Ant and Dec back together again #ImACeleb. Just wasn’t the same without their banter."
