Incredible Water Tank Designed to Look like Traditional Olmec Sculpture Goes Viral

A water tank in Puebla, painted to look like a traditional Olmec colossal head sculpture has gone viral in Mexico.

Footage published by the artist Yum Kíimil Lee shows the realistic tank-sculpture on a rooftop, over looking Zacapoaxtla.

The “modern head” sculpture, dubbed “Tinacatl,” was created in collaboration the local art collective, Hijos del Maiz, which celebrates traditional Mexican art work and culture.
