Taylor Swift is reportedly residing in an exclusive Cotswolds town while touring the UK with her Eras tour.

Local businesses and residents are said to be preparing complimentary gifts and selecting potential outfits for the superstar. The singer, who recently performed to a sold-out crowd at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Tuesday, June 18, is believed to have taken up residence in a £3,000-per-night rental property near Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm and the Beckhams' home.

Swift is reportedly using the luxurious property in Great Tew, close to Chipping Norton, as a retreat during her sell-out Eras tour. The area is known for its celebrity residents, including the Beckhams, Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, and David Cameron, reports Wales Online.

Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs footballer Travis Kelce, are expected to spend time in the Cotswolds in the coming weeks. Local businesses have expressed their excitement about the singer's presence in the area, revealing that they are preparing gifts and even outfit choices in local clothing stores.

Among the local businesses near Swift's luxury accommodation is Soho Farmhouse, a private members-only club costing £2,950 per year, frequented by A-listers and high flyers, where Meghan Markle hosted her hen party. There's also The Trough at Daylesford Farm, one of only 33 Michelin Green Star restaurants in the country, where she could dine.

The Trough eatery, where a salad will set you back £23 and a cheese tart costs £18.50, also offers a bottle of top-notch red wine for a hefty £55. However, Taylor and Travis may prefer to cook at home.

At a recent press conference, Travis revealed his enjoyment of cooking with Taylor, stating: "Taylor makes a great Pop-Tart and cinnamon roll."

If they fancy whipping up their own meals, the Daylesford Farm shop offers a range of pricey but high-quality organic produce - from fresh meats to a pack of five chocolate chip biscuits priced at £9.49.

A pot of honey is available for £10.99, while a punnet of juicy strawberries can be purchased for £4.99. For those who prefer their greens, a bunch of purple asparagus is on sale for £8.99.

Meanwhile, businesses in Chipping Norton have expressed their excitement at the prospect of welcoming the singer. Justin Alderslade, 54, owner of gift shop Hyde and Home, often serves Amanda Holden and her family.

He believes Taylor Swift would be a fantastic addition to the community, saying: "I think she'd probably like to have a look around here. I'd probably want to give her a free gift to encourage her to visit.

"If she popped in, I'd be very excited I think I'd have to have a photo taken, which I don't usually do. We need more excitement for around the town.

"Jeremy Clarkson has done really good things for the farming community, but he doesn't come shopping here. We have Amanda Holden in quite a lot, she lives locally, so it's quite nice when she comes in - the staff are quite excited about it."

Sally Allen, 56, owner of the independent women's clothing store Nutmeg in Chipping Norton, is hopeful that Taylor Swift might pop into her shop during her stay in the area. She expressed her enthusiasm, saying: "I'm not surprised she's staying near Chipping Norton because it's such a gorgeous area.

"We've got The Beckhams, Harry and Meghan have been up the Soho [Farmhouse], we've got Simon Cowell, David Cameron, Jeremy Clarkson, and Amanda Holden too. I've seen David Beckham outside, he gets round the town.

"We've seen the traffic increase. I think it's because people want to see if they can bump into celebrities.

"I've chosen an outfit for her, the brand is FOIL, which is a designer brand. We sell a lot of them, it seems to be very popular.

"I could just see her wearing those colours, with some nice high cowboy boots or something. It'd look quite funky on her I'm sure."

However, not everyone is thrilled about the prospect of Swift's presence in the town. Local resident Mo Brown, 81, voiced her concerns about the potential disruption: "I had heard she was here. I don't follow her music, but I see her everywhere, she's all over the place. I wouldn't mind seeing her, she's very attractive, but there'll be an awful lot of people, so it might cause a bit of a disruption.

"I think she's staying in Great Tew, if not Soho Farmhouse. I think she's a very admirable person, she's amazing - look what she's achieved. But yeah, probably not the right fit for the town."

Liam Reast, a 19 year old holidaymaker from Wales currently in Chipping Norton, expressed indifference about the potential of running into Taylor. He stated: "I'm not a big fan of her, to be honest. If I bumped into her, it's a weird coincidence; I'd be lucky to, but I don't really care that much. Her music's ok to be fair, it's not something I'd ever listen to, I wouldn't really feel the need to take a photo with her."
