Intense Flooding Rages Through Streets in Southern France

Heavy rain brought intense flash-flooding to southern France on August 9, putting 30 departments under a weather advisory until Friday, August 10, according to news reports.

In the department of Gard, about 750 people were evacuated from campsites due to heavy flooding. Several were hospitalized and one person was reported missing, according to AP reports.
