Intense Storms Wreak Havoc in Florida Amid Tornado Threats

A line of storms brought damaging winds to parts of Florida on Wednesday January 25, prompting authorities to issue tornado warnings.

This footage filmed by Garrett Harvey shows toppled trees and downed powerlines along Victory Garden Drive in Tallahassee, Florida.

A tornado warning was issued for Tallahassee earlier on Wednesday, by the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS said that two brief EF-0 tornadoes were confirmed – one in southern Walton County near Bunker and one in Liberty County near Estiffanulga. The damage in Tallahassee on Victory Garden Drive was ruled as “straight-line winds”. Credit: Garrett Harvey via Storyful
