Hull City stars Jacob Greaves and Jaden Philogene are subject to a £30m transfer offer from Ipswich Town, according to a new report this morning from Football Insider. The report claims a double bid has gone in for the Tigers duo, with a combined fee of £30m for City's two biggest assets.

An approach to City for clarification on a potential offer has so far not heralded any further information, however Hull Live understands Ipswich's pursuit of Greaves is genuine and the Tractor Boys have identified the defender as one of their transfer priorities this summer if they can get a deal over the line.

Greaves is attracting attention from a number of clubs, including Ipswich's Premier League rivals Everton and West Ham United, however City owner Acun Ilicali is keen to keep hold of the homegrown 23-year-old and has made it clear he has no wish to sell the player unless Greaves asks to leave to play in the top flight.

Undeterred by the City owner's comments regarding his top players, Ipswich are hopeful they can lure Greaves to Portman Road to work under Kieran McKenna in the Premier League. A move for Philogene should come as no surprise after McKenna tried to sign the player last summer from Aston Villa.

Ipswich were hopeful of landing Philogene and made a significant play for the Villa man, only to be beaten to his signature by the Tigers. While Ipswich's interest in both is understandable, whether City would entertain £30m for the pair is less certain, given the club's internal individual valuations of the players which would put a combined deal closer to £40m.
