The soul of world-renowned musician Bruce Dickinson is going up for sale in Cornwall. Bruce, who was born in Worksop in 1958, signed the contract during a music video after he recently released his first solo album in almost two decades, The Mandrake Project, which has also been published as a 12-part comic series.

As part of one of the videos for his two new singles, the heavy metal legend signed a contract giving his soul to the devil, which is now being auctioned off along with other props used in the videos. Joe Gray, who runs Shiver Me Timbers reclamation yard near Penzance, Cornwall, is known for being a purveyor of all things curious and eccentric and was brought in to supply props and backdrops for the music videos.

The videos were for "Afterglow of Ragnarok" and "Rain on the Graves" and the items used included a coffin, a church organ, a large wooden cross as well as the contract with the devil, which was used to sign over the soul of one of the greatest and most distinctive heavy metal vocalists of all time.
