Is Louis Tomlinson About To Collaborate with DJ Steve Aoki?

With every member of One Direction either hitting the studio or releasing new music this year, it should come as no surprise that Louis Tomlinson would eventually put a song of his own ‘out there’.

According to The Daily Star, the Doncaster-native is collaborating with none other than Steve Aoki of DJ-ing fame for a track that will be released before Christmas.

If you don’t know Steve, you’ll probably recognise some of his hits from that time you went to that really rubbish beach bar for your mate Sue’s birthday trip to Ibiza last June.

Speaking to the paper, a source said:: “Louis and Steve partied a few times in the summer.

“They were just mucking around in the studio at first but ended up coming up with something special. It’s miles away from what Louis did with One Direction.”

Louis also attended Steve’s birthday bash in Las Vegas a few weeks ago – joining him on his private plane and presumably busting a move with him in the city’s Hakkasan nightclub.

Since working together in the studio this year, it’s safe to say that the pair are now pretty close pals.

No more details about the song have emerged – not even a freakin’ name or anything – but it’s expected that the EDM-influenced bop will be premièred on the X Factor, with Louis keen to remain loyal to Simon Cowell’s Syco group.

Meanwhile, Liam Payne whipped fans into a social media frenzy after sharing a selfie inside a recording studio, as he continues to lay down tracks for his debut solo album.

The 23-year-old singer has been teasing fans about his new music for weeks, and shortly after sharing an audio clip of a sexy new demo track, he decided to treat us all to a photo of him singing into a microphone yesterday.

Sharing the snap on Instagram alongside the caption: “Stay working,” Liam also revealed that he had been working with some heavyweights in the music biz, tagging two producers in the picture.

Singer-songwriter Jerm D., award-winning producers Oakestra and Zaire Koalo all appeared to be working with him in the Los Angeles studio – so, he’s definitely in safe hands.

Exciting times, eh Directioners?
