Now it’s being reported that the singer could be a permanent replacement for Fergie on an upcoming tour.

According to The Sun, it was Will.i.am’s plan to snag Lydia, after she impressed him on The Voice earlier this year.

After the success of her guest appearance with the newly reformed Peas, she’s now being lined up for the tour.

A source said: “A deal is being worked out currently for Lydia to join the band to replace Fergie.

“It is a trial for her to begin with, but everyone involved is confident that her position will become permanent and tours are being planned with her involved.

“It’s a massive step for her, and she is delighted.”
