ITV 1% Club announces season's 'last episode' as fans of Lee Mack-fronted show are gutted
Fans of The 1% Club have been left upset by finding out that the current season of the widely watched ITV staple comes to an end this weekend. The Lee Mack-fronted show has been keeping prime time TV viewers entertained for weeks, but the last episode of the current saga will come this Saturday (May 25).
A message posted to the show's official X account today (May 20), read: "This Saturday will be the last episode of this current series. The episode was filmed quite a while ago.
"Anyone recognise one of the contestants playing here before she made her other TV appearance? We absolutely loved having her on the show - she was great fun! #the1percentclub."

Alongside the announcement was a photo of a famous face who had took part in the show, with fans rushing to the comments section to guess who it was. One guessed: "Looking forward to watching the last episode and to see Yinrun from Big Brother!" while a second, added: "Yes, Yinrun of Big Brother!"
The Star reports that others were left fuming that their beloved show was coming to a close at the weekend, with one writing: "Last Episode of the series. Wow that gone quick," while a second fan, shared: "Gutted that it is the last episode of the series!"
It comes after a recent instalment of the show came with an unexpected twist, when 32 of the 100 in-studio contestants were wiped out in a single round. The showing even left Mack stunned, as he exclaimed: "Wow. That is massive. 32 people went out on that one!"
The question in question was: "Which of these would it be impossible to do? (A) Marry your cousin's cousin (B) Marry your brother's widow (C) Marry your widow's sister."
And correct answer C stumped a number of the contestants playing along, with Lee clarifying: "You would not be able to marry your widow's sister as you would already be dead. Before we get any complaints - I accept that is a bit zombie-ist."
The 1% Clubs airs Saturdays on ITV1 and ITVX.
