ITV The 1% Club question so hard it knocks a third out as Lee Mack forced to explain

An ITV The 1% Club question has knocked out a third of the studio audience - leaving Lee Mack gobsmacked. BBC Would I Lie to You star Lee couldn't believe his eyes on a recent edition of the ITV show after seeing the sheer number of contestants knocked out.

And Lee was even more blown away when it emerged scores more had decided to use their one and their only pass to ensure they navigated the question without getting it wrong, booking their spot in the next round of the Saturday night quiz contest.

The question that so many people had struggled with was: "Which of these would it be impossible to do?" The options Lee then gave were, (A), Marry your cousin's cousin or (B), Marry your brother's widow, or finally, (C) Marry your widow's sister.

Lee explained the answer is C because "you would not be able to marry your widow's sister as you would already be dead." The comedian, who also stars in Not Going Out, said: "Before we get any complaints - I accept that is a bit zombie-ist."

One typed on Twitter/X: "How can you marry your cousins cousin , you can’t marry yourself . I’m not out." Oli replied: "I have lots of cousins and they have lots of cousins that aren't all me." Another said: "Just the way the question was worded , didn’t even read the other two options properly as came to the conclusion it was just a cousin"

Another said: "Oh ffs! Just had a massive brain melt and went out on that question. That's the worst I've ever done. Damn you #The1PercentClub" "Got that one with a second to spare," another said. "Got this one wrong #OnePercentClub," Elena typed.

Another said: "I chose a whilst watching because that baby would have 3 fingers." But somebody who got it correct gloated: "C well you could only do it if you were dead."
