On Saturday night's episode of Britain's Got Talent, viewers were left scratching their heads.

The latest instalment saw magic and illusionist duo Jay and Joss perform a wedding-themed routine that left judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli completely stunned.

The couple began their audition by sharing the story of how they met at the world's largest magic convention. They then shared a touching moment from their 2019 engagement and subsequent wedding four years later.

However, they confessed they hadn't yet had their honeymoon.

Jay and Joss then enlisted the help of the judges, using a balloon as a prop. Each judge was asked to contribute a date, month and year for the couple's future honeymoon, reports the Mirror.

Simon chose the 7th, Amanda selected August and Alesha opted for 2025. Bruno was then tasked with shaking the balloon, which was popped to reveal a note reading 07/08/2025.

Alesha was next asked to estimate how much money they would spend on the trip, jokingly suggesting it would be funded by Simon as she guessed £7,700.50. Amanda was asked to choose a hotel room number and went with 127, while Simon was asked to select a celebrity friend to entertain the couple, choosing Nicole Scherzinger.

Finally, Simon was asked to pick a destination from a series of tags with strings, where he selected Blackpool.

Jay and Joss claimed the judges' decisions seemed "completely random" and that predicting them before the audition would have been impossible. Yet, they hinted at their ability to fast-forward time to a specific date, year, and location in the blink of an eye.

With a snap of their fingers, a video began to play on stage, showing what appeared to be their future honeymoon.

The footage showed a newspaper with the headline displaying the date Tuesday, August 7, 2025. They then revealed a piece of paper with the amount £7,700.50 written on it and alluded to a hotel room number before the number 127 mysteriously appeared in their coffee.

The act continued outside in Blackpool, where buses adorned with Nicole Scherzinger's image passed by, leaving both the judges and audience in awe, declaring the feat "impossible". After receiving four yeses, Simon was adamant during feedback, asserting: "I swear none of it was planned in advance, it's just blown my mind! ".

However, some viewers were quick to spot a discrepancy, noting that the newspaper date, Tuesday, August 7, 2025, was incorrect as that day would actually be a Thursday. Fans took to Twitter to express their scepticism, with one stating: "Nah I'm not having that! ! ! 7th August is in a Thursday next year! ! #BGT", another questioned: "Hmmm... except 7th August 2025 is a Thursday... not a Tuesday #BGT", and others echoed the sentiment, pointing out the calendar error and sharing their confusion over the supposed Tuesday date.
