During Saturday's episode of ITV's Britain's Got Talent, viewers were left shocked as Kimberly Winter took to the stage for her surprising audition.

In a twist of events, Winter stepped on stage appearing as though she was going to belt out an ABBA track, but instead, she launched into a burping rendition of The Winner Takes It All, leaving judges and audience members alike in utter disbelief.

Simon Cowell, clearly entertained and taken aback by the act, joked: "We weren't expecting that, did you really fly in from America to burp at me? Really? It was so stupid, it was brilliant, really, that's a compliment." Yet Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli did not share Simon's sentiment siding with a negative reaction, promptly hitting their red buzzers.

Amanda Holden, however, found the whole act rather amusing. In fact, she chimed in too and registered her approval with a yes vote, reports the Mirror.

Alesha, who was less than impressed, declared: "I'm out of here, I'm out of here! " This was followed by Bruno who added: "I'm bitterly disappointed, no, no, no! " Simon then joined Amanda's camp giving a yes himself.

A horrified Alesha then chimed in, exclaiming: "Bruno, let's go", leading to a flustered departure from the pair. This left hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly to state: "Oh they've gone, the two of them have gone! " However, despite his initial exit, Bruno quickly returned, stating: "Just because I can't possibly imagine how you're going to out gross this grossness... I'll change it around! " Consequently, Kimberly received three affirmative nods from the judges.

Viewers appeared split regarding the unique act, taking to Twitter to air their thoughts. One user queried: "Please tell me why someone was burping on stage? ", while another commented: "Burping is funny at first. But soon gets boring. #BGT".

Additional comments included "#BGT #BritiansGotTalent burping girl seriously? ? ? ? " and "I'm sorry but how was that burping woman entertaining? ? ...#BGT."

However, not all responses were negative. Another viewer enthusiastically proposed: "The burping woman to win #BGT! ", with other posts including "Im crying laughing at the burping lady on #BGT" and "Let's make sure this burping lady wins! ".

In other news, West End singer and performer Sydnie Christmas and the South Korean martial arts group Ssaulabi Performance Troupe were awarded the sought-after Golden Buzzers during Saturday's show, securing their spots in the semi-finals.
