ITV The Chase's Mark Labbett's girlfriend gushes over 'sexy' star as they reveal secret to happy relationship

The Chase star Mark Labbett and his girlfriend Hayley Palmer celebrated their one year anniversary by appearing on ITV's Loose Women today.

Mark, known on the quiz game show as 'The Beast', spoke to the Loose panel about their first year of dating and Hayley gushed over how she finds the 58-year-old extremely "sexy".

Mark said: "Because we live quite a bit apart, we tend to look at our diaries to see when we can sync up together, so the good news is that we see each other every few weeks but we make the most of it when we are together."

Hayley added: "And we get excited when we see each other, which is really nice! So when we don't see each other we're really looking forward to coming together and not sharing our chips!"

Brenda Edwards asked what the pair were doing to mark one year together and Hayley replied: "We're actually - this might be quite sad to some but to us it's quite special - we're going back to the bench, a bench on a beach we sat on a year ago and I think it's where we thought actually this could be something!

"I've always gone out with bad boys - honestly ladies there's hope - you can find a nice genuine guy - I know he's not going to want to hear that but he's not The Beast - he's the most sweetest person.

"I find it really attractive when he's organising dates in advance, I just think it's really sexy!"

When asked if they've had any arguments, Mark didn't disclose details but said they sorted it out at Five Guys burger chain, adding: "Chips solve everything!"

Mark struck up a romance with the GB News presenter at the start of this year after the two met at the National Television Awards 2022.

For their first date, they enjoyed a performance of Dirty Dancing: The Musical after Hayley asked Mark if he'd like to join her to see the West End show.

Despite their 16-year age gap, the two are still going strong, much to the astonishment of the retired mathematics teacher.
