She shared a snap alongside her former Coronation Street co-star, Katie McGlynn, who played Sinead Tinker from 2013 - 2020. Lisa was delighted to be reunited with her onscreen niece as Katie said in a joint announcement: "Our Sinead and Auntie Beth… it’s like we’ve never been apart "

Lisa told her Instagram followers she is set to to perform in a Cinderalla pantomime in Swindon this Christmas season. She said: "You SHALL go to the ball. I am thrilled to be starring in @wyverntheatre’s magical family pantomime **Cinderella** this festive season."

Although she may be heading for a temporary break from the Cobbles while she performs in the pantomime, the actor has previously spoken about how she is still thrilled to be a part of the Coronation Street cast.

Last year, Beth was was absent from the Super Soap Week episodes earlier this year, which fuelled speculation her time on the show could soon come to an end. However, the star told our sister site, Mirror Online, she has recently signed a new contract as she addressed the rumours about her show exit.

Speaking at the Pride of Britain Awards, she said: "I've got a new contract. It's really weird, everyone was saying you're leaving, you're leaving. I was asked about my contract and I said I was waiting, and so they asked what I'd like to do if I didn't get one and I said Call The Midwife. That's all I said it was a passing comment then the next thing, everyone is ringing me like, 'you're leaving, you're leaving'.

"I was like no, what's all this, no, I don't know anything about it. It's just weird I don't even know how it happened from the passing comment." Lisa confirmed she was forced to miss the Super Soap Week episodes after she contracted coronavirus.

She said: "I was gutted as I really liked the scenes as well, it was super soap week and there was a sudden rush of covid and we were dropping like flies, and unfortunately I got it as well."
