ITV has officially confirmed the start date for 2024's series of Love Island. The reality TV show is an annual highlight for millions of viewers up and down the country as summer arrives in the UK.

Better still, fans won't have too long to wait as the show will be making a comeback in just a couple of weeks. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the official Love Island account wrote: "We’re coming in hot! Love Island returns Monday, June 3."

Love Island's 2024 edition will kick off at 9pm, and will be available to watch on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX. IT will once again see a fresh new batch of singletons looking for love head into the iconic villa in hopes of finding 'the one' - and bagging a huge cash prize.

This year, the luxury villa will be located in Majorca. Although the line-up is yet to be announced, rumours have already been circulating.

Maya Jama will be returning to her hosting duties as presenter for the dating show. She took over from Laura Whitmore back in 2022.

The news was music to the ears of many fans as they rushed to leave their thoughts in the comment section. BruceHebrew replied: "I'm so ready can't wait."

Entertain85512 declared: "We're waiting." Iamb_xx stated: "This summer is gonna be fun."

Lthapie admitted: "I don’t know how and why love island just does it for me. Pure giddiness." Bmacharia34 joked: "Finally a distraction from the stress that Chelsea football club is giving me."

Last year, Islanders Molly Smith and Tom Clare were voters winners by viewers. They beat competition from Callum Jones and Jess Gale, who came in second place.
