ITV This Morning in chaos as Jimmy Carr sparks outrage among viewers for 'acting like an a***'

This Morning has been thrown into chaos as angry viewers took to social media following Friday's episode. Jimmy Carr left those tuning in furious at his behaviour towards one of the guests.

The comedian rattled fans as he appeared on the ITV show alongside Irish chef Clodagh McKenna who was showcasing a new dish. However she was constantly interrupted by Jimmy, as people have called him out for acting like an 'a***'.

As Clodagh expertly tended to a chicken carcass she recommended viewers to set in a saucepan, she explained three ways of cooking chicken. Jimmy interjected: "what? Have you not got a bin?"

The chef appeared to smile and attempt to brush off his remarks to continue with her segment, however Jimmy's interruptions became continuous reports the Mirror. "Pop it in the bin! It's gone, the chicken is gone", he bellowed over her.

Jimmy, 51, continued to mock Clodagh as she shared the chicken broth she created with viewers He jibed: "wait until she finds out about stock cubes!" before volleying other comments.

Clodagh's segment ended with show hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary tucking into the vegetable and chicken dish she had prepared. Jimmy, who also tasted it, went even further by insulting the chef saying it lacked chicken.

Dermot put his arm around Clodagh appearing to comfort her, as she gave a polite nod and grinned. However viewers weren't holding back as they took to social media to slam the comedian.

One person fumed: "Urgh. Jimmy Carr next. Switching off as he is obnoxious and proved it by having no respect to Clodah's segment", as another agreed: "Jimmy Carr what an absolute a*** to Clodagh."

A third wrote: "I doubt Jimmy would appreciate it if Clodagh joined his segment and started loudly interrupting and undermining everything he said." Another angry viewer then echoed: "Jimmy Carr being an a*** during this cooking segment on #ThisMorning STFU Jimmy. You’re not funny and just look well pathetic. It’s not always about you."

One fan empathised with Clodagh: "If I was Clodagh I would butt in on Jimmy Carrs segment and throw broccoli at him the rude g**!" While another quipped: "Clodagh sounds really pissed off at Jimmy Carr & who could blame her."

Clodagh took to Instagram with a selfie featuring Alison and Dermot following the show but no Jimmy as she wrote: "One chicken, 3 recipes, one @jimmycarr I’m officially ready for the weekend."

More viewers in the comment section showed her support and hit out at Jimmy. "I'm sorry the 3 of them talked over the top of you so much, as a viewer it made it hard to hear so must have been frustrating for you! Great recipes though and can't wait to try!", one of her followers wrote.

Another fumed: "Jimmy Carr was so rude to you C, you were fab thank you so much."
