ITV Shares Details For I’m A Celebrity Star Lady C’s New Reality Show

Listen up, darlings: ITV has shared details for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Lady Colin Campbell’s new reality show.

The broadcaster has confirmed that Lady C And The Castle will air as a one-off special on September 2 at 9pm, and whilst it isn’t compulsory to wear your finest set of pearls, it’s highly recommended.

Lady C, 67, thought that she had bagged a bargain when she bought Castle Goring in Sussex, in 2013 – but the expansive property has required millions of pounds worth of restoration work.

The Jamaican-born socialite has made no secret of the fact that she entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle to raise money for vital renovations, as she quipped: “I have always done a certain number of things that I would much rather have not had to do… let’s put it this way, I’m whoring for Goring.”

As a result of her newfound fame, this 60-minute special will follow Lady C in the 10 weeks leading up to the launch of her new events business, which will see the stately home open its doors as a high-class wedding venue.

Lady C – who was the undeniable breakout star of I’m A Celebrity in 2015 – revealed that she isn’t keen to share the limelight with her former camp mates, including the likes of Vicky Pattison, Ferne McCann and George Shelley, but there’s still a chance that they might snag an invite to the sophisticated soiree.

“At the moment I’m doing a television programme on me,” she told The Sun. “It’s called The Lady in the Castle and it’s going to be about me, Castle Goring and of course my children.

“The show is about me,” she reiterated. “But having said that, we will be having a castle-warming ball so some of them may be asked to attend.”

Sadly she failed to mention whether tiaras would be part of the dress code, but we’ll find out when Lady C And The Castle airs on ITV on September 2 at 9pm.
