The Jacksons Add UK Dates To Their Unity Tour

The Jacksons are bringing their reunion tour to the UK with five dates next year.

The group, whose hits include ABC and I Want You Back, reunited in June to go on tour for the first time in 28 years.

Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito last went on the road outside the US as a group in 1984.

Their brother Michael, who performed with the group on many of their hits, died in 2009 at the age of 50.

Having performed a number of shows in the US, The Jacksons have now moved on to Europe.

Their Unity Tour calls at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena on February 26, before moving on to Manchester's O2 Apollo.

The Jacksons will then take in the Glasgow Clyde Auditorium and Bournemouth International Centre before finishing at London's Hammersmith Apollo on March 3.

One of the US dates on the Unity Tour was the Apollo Theatre in New York, a venue The Jackson 5 first played on Amateur Night in 1969.

The Hollywood Reporter said the 26-song set featured a blend of their major hits as well as Michael's solo tracks Rock With You and Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'.

Jermaine, who sang many of the lead vocals, was afforded a mini solo-set featuring Dynamite, Let's Get Serious and Do What You Do.

He also paid tribute to his late brother with an emotional Gone Too Soon, accompanied by a video montage featuring Michael.

Tickets for the UK shows go on sale on Friday.
