The late Big Brother star’s ex-partner, Jeff Brazier, is now a life coach and has taken care of their kids, Bobby and Freddie, ever since.

The 37-year-old TV star appeared on ‘This Morning’ today to give advice to grieving viewers who contacted the show and sought help during the phone-in segment.

The phone-in came after Rio Ferdinand’s brave interview on the programme about learning to open up as he grieved the loss of his wife, Rebecca, who also died from cancer in May 2015.

Jeff – who is writing a grief guide to help those mourning the loss of a loved one – has helped Jade’s sons come to terms with the loss of their mother, and was able to be frank and strong with two women who felt that had noone to turn to.

One of the women had tragically lost both of her parents and her eight-year-old son, and the other has terminal cancer and wanted to know how to rid herself of the guilt of leaving her children behind when she dies.

Jeff told the cancer-stricken caller to build as many memories in the time that she had left with her children, and told the grieving mother that he would speak to her one-on-one after the show as she was sobbing uncontrollably and could hardly speak.

The emotional scenes struck viewers, who said Jeff was a “beacon of light” and came across as “amazing, kind, caring, and sensitive.”

Jeff and Jade’s son Bobby is now almost 14 years old with Freddie approaching 13, and their dad previously admitted the hardest times of the year for them are Mother’s Day and Christmas.

His book, ‘The Grief Survival Guide: How to Navigate Loss and All That Comes With It’ will be published in hardback on 29th June 2017.
