Jade Goody's widow Jack Tweed admits she would be 'bursting with pride' at son Bobby

The widower says his late wife wouldn't have been able to contain herself seeing her son do so well after Strictly line-up annoluncement

Jade Goody's widower has claimed she would be "bursting with pride" to see how well her son Bobby Brazier is doing.

Jack Tweed has opened up about how his late wife would have felt seeing Brazier, 20, join the line-up for Strictly Come Dancing after he was recently announced as one of the big-name stars competing on the show this autumn.

The EastEnders star - who has also worked as a model for top fashion designers including Dolce & Gabbana - has already been named as the bookies' favourite to win the iconic Glitterball Trophy.

Tweed dated Goody for four years prior to her death from cancer at just 27 years old. The pair tied the knot in a private ceremony several months before she passed away and was was step-dad to both Bobby and his brother Freddy.

Tweed told The Sun: "Jade would be over-the-moon proud of Bobby and all he’s achieved.

"...Seeing Bobby grow into such a nice young man has been a lovely thing to see. He is absolutely smashing it. Jade would be bursting with pride."

Talking about his involvement n Strictly, Brazier said: "I’m so excited to be part of the Strictly line up, I can’t wait to start training like a professional dancer and adding a few moves to my locker. I'm looking forward to performing in front of everyone, it's going to be so much fun!"

Talking live from the EastEnders set on BBC Breakfast he added: "I'm good, I'm excited, I've never done live TV before, so I'm a little bit nervous but I'm happy! I love to dance, to perform live will be scary I think, daunting, but exciting."

The actor continued: "People keep telling me as far as EastEnders and Strictly go, everyone who has done Strictly, from EastEnders, has done pretty well. So people are saying: 'Do you feel pressure?' But no, I don't. People have just said be yourself and enjoy dancing."
