James Arthur admits that One Direction fans still haven't forgiven him

Two weeks ago we were all left pretty shocked when Louis Tomlinson shared a photo of himself with singer James Arthur on his Instagram page, with Louis previously falling victim to James’ cruel words.

The X Factor winner called the One Direction star “a little b*tch” after he lashed out at the band, calling them a “marketing product” and dismissing their monumental success – despite the fact Louis publicly supported James throughout his X Factor journey.

Louis appears to have forgiven the star.

James then disappeared from the spotlight before returning to the music scene last year, and it appears that he has come back to the limelight as a good friend of Louis’.

Hmm, bit odd?

Although the 25-year-old star appears to have forgotten about James’ nasty words, his fans definitely haven’t and the selfie that Louis posted was mostly met with outrage and James has now admitted that 1D fans haven’t forgiven him.

He explained: “They still hold a grudge even though we’ve made friends and stuff.

“They were like, ‘We’ll never forget what you did!'”

However, he insists that his and Lou’s friendship is the real deal and not just a PR stunt, adding: “We’re just a couple of chavs really. We’re both common, we’re both football fans, we love the same bands and he’s a sound lad.”

He added to the Metro that he even plans to hang out with Louis after this year’s BRIT Awards, sharing: “I spoke to Ed [Sheeran] and Louis about the after-party already.

“I will be hitting it up with one of them two, I haven’t decided yet who. Louis said he’s down yeah, I think Ed is sticking around too. A few people have mentioned meeting up so let’s see what happens.”

Partying with Ed Sheeran and Louis Tomlinson? Erm, could we perhaps get an invite too, James?
