Strictly's James and Ola Jordan 'homeless' after rental property falls through

Former Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan has claimed he and his family are set to be "homeless" for Christmas, after their rental property fell through.

The 44-year-old professional dancer and wife Ola Jordan are in the process of selling the home they share with two-year-old daughter Ella, and were looking to rent while they found somewhere new to live.

James revealed on his Instagram stories: "We are currently in the process of moving and need to move into rented accommodation for six months.

"We found a rental property we liked and went this morning to meet the landlord.

"I have never been spoken to so rudely! Especially in front of Ola and Ella. It was almost like it was a set up.

"I hope no one out there has experienced this with a landlord. He spoke down to us from the minute I shook his hand."

He joked: "Currently homeless. Anyone want to take Olla, Ella and myself for Christmas?"

According to the MailOnline the dancing couple put their five-bedroom house in Sevenoaks, Kent on the market for £2.5million in June.

The detached property features an outdoor swimming pool, home cinema and a gym.

James departed Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 and Ola, 40, followed in 2015.

Since leaving the BBC dance show Ola has appeared on Channel 4's The Jump and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, while James has taken part in Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing On Ice, which he won in 2019.

Daughter Ella was conceived with the help of IVF and the pair recently told Hello magazine they would like to have more children.

Orla said: "We're not thinking about another baby yet though. I'd love Ella to have a sibling – more for her than anything. She's quite hard work at the moment, so I can't imagine it but yeah, we would love to have more."

James added: "We had such a positive experience with IVF - the clinic were so caring and it was run like clockwork. The whole experience was very professional.

"We haven't thought about another baby imminently, but we would definitely go through it again if we decide that we want to."
