Janette Manrara’s Wedding Plans On Hold As She Awaits Strictly Come Dancing Future News

There’s already been a lot of talk about who’s staying and who’s going on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, with Tristan MacManus, Kristina Rihanoff, Aliona Vilani and Ola Jordan all bowing out.

But one professional dancer who still doesn’t know her fate is Janette Manrara, who has been a part of the BBC show since 2013.

Janette, who is engaged to fellow Strictly professional Aljaž Škorjanec, has hinted that her wedding plans have taken a backseat as she waits to hear about her future on the show.

She told BANG Showbiz: “I don’t know if I’m returning this year. I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed to get Strictly again - I’m not even considering anything else at the moment but hopefully I’m there so it won’t even have to be something to stress about.

“Let’s hope Strictly calls me or I’ll get more time to plan the wedding and it’ll be sooner then.”

Janette added that she’d ‘love’ to see Aljaž trying to plan their big day on his own, admitting: “Although he did tackle our engagement on his own, he picked the engagement and did everything - he did it perfectly so he showed me he can do them things and take control.

“He was spot on, he was good at making me think we were doing something completely different that night. Maybe he can plan the wedding if he doesn’t get Strictly.”

The couple announced their engagement in August last year.
