Jason Derulo Helping The Wanted’s Max George With His Solo Career

The Wanted’s Max George is thought to be enlisting the help of Jason Derulo as he sets about launching his solo career.

The Wanted went on hiatus back in 2014, with members of the band since going on to other things - Nathan Sykes, for example, has launched his own solo career, and Jay McGuiness won last year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

Max has also dabbled in a few things, from a role on TV show ‘Glee’ to taking part in ITV show ‘Bear Grylls: Mission Survive’.

Now though, it seems his focus is on his debut solo record, with reports claiming he’s been working on new material in an LA studio with Jason Derulo for the past month.

A source told The Mirror: “Max is delighted that a big name like Jason has got on board with the album.

“He feels that the time is right to share his music with the world and wants the quality to be top notch. He’s hoping to burst back on to the scene with a huge, catchy hit, but there will be edgy, raw songs too.

“Max has got a great voice, a huge fanbase from his boyband days and cheeky personality – which means he could be just as successful as Zayn Malik.”

The paper reports that Max will ‘reveal all’ about his lovelife and boyband life in the record, which will hopefully be released later this year.

We can’t wait to hear it.
